The Story

It has been 27 years since the acclaimed limited run of the original Spellbinder Bass Guitar. The new Spellbinder Bass II finds its roots steeped deeply within its predecessor. However, there are a few changes to this incarnation. Our updated version employs a unique wood construction sound block design that delivers extraordinary focus to the string and neck vibration.

The 24 fret, 34 inch scale integrates classic ornamental design elements with a solid, balanced feel.

A limited run of 125 basses will be created. All instruments will be signed, dated and serial numbered by Musician/Bassist Stanley Clarke and Luthier/Designer Thomas Lieber. A collaboration unequaled in the industry. Stanley and Thomas share a long history and are excited about the Spellbinder II.

A custom, highly versatile pickup and wiring scheme, designed by Clarke, Lieber and Kent Armstrong, rounds out the Spellbinder II, making it a true player’s instrument.

Ordering
