Description

The Coco Tiger is immediately recognizable to connoisseurs of Jerry’s guitars thanks to it being a distinctive flat-top version of The Garcia. The design is a blend of the Tiger and the Wolf, with figured maple sides and back chambered before the cocobolo top is applied on top. This construction technique allows the Coco Tiger to have the same sonic capabilities as the Tiger without the heavier multi-ply exotic wood laminations, making it weigh in at a full ⅓ less than the original.

The Coco Tiger’s neck features a select two-piece figured maple laminate with an ebony fingerboard and intricate mother of pearl Garcia Tiger position markers. The cocobolo headstock is highlighted by a faceplate with a mother of pearl Eagle, capping off a beautiful instrument with DiMarzio pickups and an onboard effects loop preamp.
